Are you kidding me? To purchase on ONLINE product, you have to go to the store and buy a stupid little card? Really??!! I can't believe that you can't buy a code online. Please tell me I am wrong and that I missed the site. Thanks! PS This is for the original XBox, if that makes any difference. |

No. Just hook up your console and if you've got a network connection it takes you right through paying for a membership onscreen ... easiest setup I've ever had. You CAN buy the online membership kit. You CAN buy "Points" at retail stores. But you don't HAVE to. They work like debit cards, or those prepaid calling cards ... But if you have a credit card, it's just as easy to do the registration right through the console. ETA: Oh. Just noticed it's original Xbox ... Can't say for sure. But the 360's setup is just like above. |

As said above you can buy kits og games with prepaid live acounts which I did first got a game, the headset & 1 year for $ 50 when you do the regerstration you just put in your CC info & they bill you from then on. Also check out XB-Connect which is a free service to play xbox online I use it for games that are not Live compatable (Halo 1) SN are Lt Bogie on Live & Bogie on Connect |
