Went to pick up some lumber for a project. While there, noticed they had a washer on sale. Since Im in the market decided to check it out. Out of the blue, one of the employees came over to offer some advice. Real helpful friendly fellow. Decided to take it, and same fellow went to get a flat. Heres the topper, he of his own accord, talked to the manager and got something like 50% knocked off the price. I have no idea why, since I never brought up the price. This guy came through like he was an old friend. He talked to the cashier and got it rung up right for me, helped me take it to the truck, helped me load it. Wouldnt even take a tip, despite the fact that he earned it. He wouldnt even let me fill out a comment card. Stuff like that makes it a lot easier to boycott HD. |
Birds are dying cause I shoot them with my 870. I hate birds. Dont mind them living in the wild, or at the park, just not roaming free in civilization. Disclaimer: Birds are only shot where legal. |

Same thing happened to me recently at Lowes as well. Had to buy a water heater. The guy saved me 20% by finding one that had a small scratch in it. He actually looked at all of them to see if he could find one with a scratch so that I could get a discount. I did not ask him to do this. Great customer service. |

+1.This washer is right as rain. But who knew that not paying 10% over sticker makes you ghey. Cant anyone just get a good deal anymore. |
