Do you think we will have any real targets to shoot at or will there be a bunch of suicide bombing pussies running around? I have plenty of guns and enough ammo for awhile, but I am wondering if we will even get a chance to use it. |

The likelyhood of being in a situation in this country where you'd have to shoot at tangos (and still be legal) is probably about as great as being hit by lightning. In terms of SHTF, think about having supplies and equipment on hand you might need if major terror attacks disrupts the supply, transportation, communications or power grid. In other words, worry more about stocking water, food, first aid materials, battery/crank/solar powered shortwave radio, and perhaps a generator. If you worry fuel may become scarce due to the Middle East crisis, get yourself a good bicycle for all those local trips. It beats walking. That's about it. The guns and bullets are nice to have. But the other stuff is actually a greater priority. And BTW, a SHTF situation is a serious national or regional emergency. It's not some hair-brained excuse to run around filled with glee that there's chaos while shooting people. It's not suppose to be an adventure. |
