How long before we see WW3? 1: The War In Iraq Failing 2: Afghanistan Falling Out Of Control 3: Iran openly defying the world over nuclear weapons 4: North Korea threatening the US and world with all-out war if challenged over nuclear weapons 5: Terrorism on the rise 6: Conflict in Israel 7: Japan threatening North Korea with Preemptive Strikes Are we in the early stages of WW3? Armageddon......................................... |
Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran VS the Western powers (i.e. NATO)....Radical Islam will fall in with who ever is against America
|
China drafts statement on North Korea "May you live in interesting times." |

WWIII was the Cold War. (We won that one, too.) We are currently in WWIV. It's just building slowly. |
You're kidding right? You think China is strong? Maybe in man power on their own soil or close by but if you include any distance in the war equation they ain't shit! They have no subs to speak of, they have no modern Navy to speak of and their ICBMs are limited in distance and updates. Fuck them, all they have is bodies to throw against our meat grinders. |
And that came from the mouth of Sean Hannity so what does that tell you. Little will argue that Afghanistan has fallen back into the hands of Warlords and Iraq is in an all out civil war, armed gunmen setting up checkpoints around Iraq checking I.D. cards and killing the Sunnis letting the others go, hmmmmmmm sounds like a real success. |
| Sounds like you're ready to become a regular in the Survival forum. |
We're winning in Iraq, did you miss the memo?
Afghanistan is not falling out of control, in fact it's becoming more stable. Going to Afghanistan is like going to Mexico now.
So what? Worst case: They nuke Tel Aviv [those evil Jooooooos!], Rome [those evil Christians!], Baghdad [those evil Infidel Crusaders!]. Then in response all of Iran gets wiped off the face of the Earth in a massive nuclear hammering. Hardly World War Three, it would last all of thirty minutes and wouldn't effect CONUS at all [other than mourning].
Errrr... So what? North Koreas missiles don't even work, and they can't even mount warheads on them. Even if they worked they can't have more than a few, and our anti-missile systems would make short work of them. So what are they going to do? Nuke Japan? Nuke Soul? Big deal, they'd just get flattened like Iran, and it still wouldn't effect CONUS.
Not really.
When Has There Not Been Conflict In Israel?!? Been there, seen it, have friends who've lived there since before you were born. None of this crap is new, Iran trying to go nuclear is the only major change in the last two decades.
With what? A dozen watered-down F-16s? Yeah right.
Take your meds. |
Well at least your optimistic, disillusioned but optimistic |
Optimistic? What the hell gave you that idea? The United States is falling apart, but it's coming apart from the inside, not threats from overseas. You're looking in the wrong direction for an apocalypse. And disillusioned? Because I don't try and make Iran and North Korea out to be big bad wolfs who can blow our houses down? I don't think so. The world isn't as fragile in that regard as you think. The Mullahs and NorKs only hold enough power to get news bites, not actually start a world war. Haven't you forgot a little something? You know, a little event called the Cold War? You know, that little conflict where the Soviets pointed 20,000 nuclear warheads at us on missiles that could actually reach us and played a giant game of chicken? That is an enemy that can cause a world war, not some third world craphole whose only claim to fame is threatening a new nation with a nuclear war [that they can't actually start] each week. |
That scenario ABSOLUTELY sucks for US |
I believe that I am too old for that lotto ticket. I just hope it ends before my son is old enough for it. |
There is a Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times." Looks like we are. Alvin

On my birthday, as a matter of fact. Then, on my 16th B-day Yitzak Rabin was Assassinated Then, right on or around (the 4th was the first day the news sources announced he was "possibly" dead) my 25th birthday, Yasser Arafat died. Can't wait to see what this Nov. 4th holds as I'll be deployed to the Middle East for the first time. Matt |

I can only see another world war starting in one way at this time. And what's funny, that one cause would for once really be about OIL. If the Middle East explodes into an all out regional war, with oil already in very hot demand, I could see some of the big players like us, the Chinese, the Russians, etc getting involved to make sure they secure their supply. And if the shit really started hitting the fan there, at that point perhaps you'd see the Chinese finally try to seize Taiwan or the North Koreans start something with the South. |
