Hemroids. Who has/had them and what do you do to make them go away/feel better?
|
|
Hemorrhoid is apparently how you spell it, which is not how I would have guessed. I cultivated mine by eating nachos and drinking beer, almost exclusively, for a couple of months. When I started eating a reasonable diet, they stopped bothering me. Butt, they never go away completely once you have them. |
You weren't born with yours? ![]() Were you born with tonsils? Appendix? Hands? Feet? |
Rhoids develop over time. An increase in intraabdominal pressure causes the blood vessels to protrude out of the anus. There are lots of blood vessesl surrounding the rectum. Truck drivers, women who have babies are examples of people who get them. Maybe just the Mods are born with them.

I was born with a butt, that was just a little spelling joke there (I added an extra t). I meant the second pair of lips I sprouted never went away completely. Never thought I would say that in any sort of setting. Ain't the internet sweet?

When I go really heavy at the gym I start getting a little blood in my stool, but not too much of the burning or itching. I have been to the DR and he said to lay off the but I am not going to do that...... I hate do advise it, but Prep H Sapositories (sp?) really help. They are just hard to swallow..![]() edit to say: I don't have any externial problems like I think you guys are talking about. Thank God |
They are a body part. PROBLEMS with them develop over time for many people. You don't "get hemorrhoids"--you develop problems with your hemorrhoids. |

Take an anti-inflamatory, and take a nice warm bath to help with the pain. Eating a better diet with more ruffage will help get them to stay away. You may also try stool softener too. Sucks to get them, both my mom and dad got it at an early age, and I did too. |

I got mine after lifting very heavy in the gym...i dealt with them for years..the pain and bleeding. I had both external and internal ones. Finally one day I went to the doc to get some different drug to maybe help and he finally said that was enough and scheduled me for surgery. I had it done about 7yrs ago right before thanksgiving. IT was an outpatient procedure and my insurance covered it. It took about a week to heal but Ive yet had the issues that I had to deal with back then. My cousin had such severe ones that he lost so much blood from them that he passed out and had to be rushed to the ER and kept there for days. People think that these things are a joke but the pain is so awful. get them taken care of quickly and good luck. |
