 I had a near miss of the same incident.  I got out of my rig, took about 10 steps and surprised a sleeping buck.  He lunged for me and I shot him with my AR from the hip.  I just about pooped em full.

Was that a bow or a rifle? WTF did he throw it down? Could have used his 2000$ custom deer rifle for exactly what it was good for at the moment-exspensive club. These are the reasons why I use an M1/AK for hunting deer. It's built to bust heads on humans, why not deer....

The lady filming was his wife.  If I remember correctly he wasn't hunting he was trying to do something else and put some type of buck urine or something on himself to get the buck in close and that's why he got his ass attacked.
