I use Tiger Launch (freeware) for this purpose. How this software would compare to Tiger Launch in use I don't know. www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16689 ETA it looks like you'd at least have to remember the name of the utility or application to find it and to launch it as it's responding to your typing like Spotlight. Tiger Launch searches for applications and then gives you a drop down list of them and sets at the top of the screeen next to the sound control etc. ready to go. It saves having too many items in the dock. |
