In this story a woman shoots an alligator several times and it only bleeds a little.  What'd she use a .25 Raven?If you're blasting gators in your house, you should use the proper weapon.

Alligators are extraordinarily tough and have a very small brain tucked behind some serious skull bones. Unless you blast many large holes in them or pull of a brain shot (very unlikely), they tend to not react much to being shot. I have personally seen even small gators take several shots and just sink out of sight only to appear days later a bit bloodied, but quite alive and well. |
