OK the wife says I have to get the dryer fixed tonight. I have a 2 year old GE dryer model # DVL223EB3WW.

When I turn the switch to start it all I hear is a humm. It sounds like it wants to go but just humms for as long as I have the switch turned to the start position.

The tub turns freely and there is no smell of smoke or indication of burnt wires. I'm looking for a reset button, but can't find one.

HELP!! I need clean underwear!!

No need for the lecture this time... I am SURE right now he is saying >>> "MAN THESE GE DRYERS SUCK!"

Open the door to the dryer... push the door switch and hold it in. Spin the drum and BEFORE IT STOPS press the START button and see if it goes.. could be a weak motor if it starts spinning.
