Do they want to see my actual CCW license or the certificate from my CCW class?

technically ccw license. in all honesty i think either would likely suffice. all they want is proof of marksmanship activity.

call them and ask them. or email them from the website

I had to send a copy of the certificate from the class.

honestly i have seen them accept a hand written statement of shooting from a range owner with ZERO investigation on it. They require it but they are more concerned with selling you a rifle. CALL THEM and discuss it with them.

I was there at Camp Perry in person on Saturday and they accepted a VERY difficult to read birth certificate, a crappy business card sized club membership thing (any jackass could have forged it) and my CCW license.

Really, they want to sell you a rifle. They're not that picky.

They want the license. Gives them one more piece of real ID, and they know you've had a background check.

the ccw is not for id purposes. it is for proof of marksmanship purposes.
