Not often at all. |
Very rarely, they incorporated it into the game for a realistic feel, only time I had my M16 jam on me was in basic training wile qualifying |
Rumored that Version 2.7 Overmatch is finally coming out around July.

What do you mean by cheaters? I played last night and got my ass kicked around 20 times before I quit, I thought something was up

I also find it kind of annoying how you can unload a clip, just kidding, magazine into the other guy and he wont die and yet I had the aim point centered on his chest. It doesn't make any sense, especially when you're about 5-10 fee away from him Other than that, I thought it was a good game. My major gripes with the game are:-not being able to hit people 10 feet away, even if you blast off 30 rounds. -static maps, people play the maps 200 times and eventually figure out how to kill you at your spawn point. A dynamic map creation thing would be better. -Everyone appears to be a US soldier, so certain weapons have the same stats as others, i.e. AK47 = M4 WTF-the training missions are retarded, especially the one where you have to crawl like 4 miles on your stomach, complete waste of time, you never use it in game. I'd have to say that it has the best grenades I've ever seen in a game. |

Thread hijack warning... I played for a bit and wanted to see what all the cheating was about. Long story short, I went to play online again and got banned because glugbot left an ini file in the AA directory. So, now I'm punkbuster banned. It appears that it might have been a hardware ban on some servers and an accout ban on others. Is there a way to get righteous again with punkbuster? |
What do you mean by cheaters? I dont understand, I think I was having some prob last night with them, I got my ass kicked all over the place. |

I used to play quite alot, until the l33t haXXors with aimbots, wall hacks, and God knows what other cheats took all the fun out of it. The only way I would play now would be on a private server with people who play for fun and who refuse to cheat out of principle. Doc H. |
The guy in the foreground has the safety on. |
There are people out there who hack into the system to more or less make themselves invincible. When they shoot, it's nothing but one-shot kills to the head, they can see through walls, go through walls, run twice as fast as everybody else, you name it. If it can be done, they will do it. I gave up. No more fun. |
Thats BS, No wonder I was getting my ass handed to me last night |
|
I've been playing AA for awhile now. Only seen cheaters in about 5 or 6 rounds. More then likely if your getting owned hard its cause your playing VS someone who plays 8-10 hours a day or something like that. Most realistic FPS out there, although graphics need a bit of work. |
I got my game for free through a local recruiter friend of mine so I have no complaints, only thing I don’t like about the game is the whole multilayer only online shit, this game would be a lot better if it allowed its users to play the computer like other games. Anyone to play missions alone? What if someone didn’t have internet accesses?

I hear the army sends rangers to come kick your door down too. |
they went out to various military installations and recorded the sounds the actual weapons made. Since PCs can't replicate some weapons sounds (with good reason--can you say hearing damage?) they sexed up some of them, for example by adding more bass to the fifties. |
Looks like server racks to me. |

Other than that, I thought it was a good game. My major gripes with the game are:
