I would be unconsolable for .03 seconds.  So you all think it is too simple?  It would make tax hikes political suicide in the absence of funds after military and commerce they will likely not have the money to run many agencies, also cost savings on collection and no tax return process would be immense.

Novel idea would be actual Capitolism.  Let the caommunications industry regulate and advance themselves unhindered.  Also if you do not like thew content do not watch or listen, I assure you most will not offend thier consumer base.  Civilization will not end because Rush said the F-Word.

Have you seen HR25????  Watered down misguided shit and it does not repeal most of what I suggested.  It may not be what Boortz intended but you do not change the outcome by moving the deckchairs around on the Titanic.

$0.23 on the dollar with no Vice, Fuel, or Dividends tax repeals WTF?  Hell no!!!

I agree with the dont like dont watch it my point was you need a system of what can signals go on what band imagine if there was no system for what a tv signal was and there was 20 diffrent types of tvs all getting there own version of what a tv signal was.

Couldn't an industry standard be set by the copmpanies in it, seems simpler and it costs $0 tax money.  Industry can self-evolve and regulate themselves and odds are cheaper and more effectively without Gov involvement.

The rebate is there so that the tax doesn't heavily impact those below the poverty level.

Hence disolving agencies.  Wouldn't you rather have our economy bolstered by consumer spending instead of Gov spending?  If taxes are low people spend more, if personal income rises people spend more, if investment is tax exempt people will invest more, and lastlyu without subsidies prices on subsidized goods will drop and exports will grow exponentially.  My own personal belief is the gov should provide military, help slightly with police and schooling, and provide means of commerce i.e. roads and ports, thats it the rest is bullshit waste.

It would almost certainly employ millions of gov employees needlessly too.  You cut expenditure by cutting cost of doing business and maximizing intake.  I am in a lower income level and I do not think anyone should be tax exempt I just think taxes should not be high and our Gov should be less wasteful.

Never liked the idea of a sales tax, and here's why:  I won't notice $.04 on every dollar, or $.05 two years later when they raise it a penny, or a year after that when they raise another $.02......

But, if every Apr 15th I had to write the .gov a check for $7000 for my flat tax, I would DAMN sure be screaming to my Congresscritters that they better control spending, and I'd do it every year.

I'd also move election day to the Tuesday after April 15th.

Tax hikes would be political suicide unless something is gained for instance (not advocating) A $0.2 increase for socialized health care.
