[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DSArms

Has anyone dealt w/ DSArms recently? They have been manufacturing a reciver for me since early Feb. Every few weeks I am given a new reason why it isn't available yet. They are also getting rather nasty with both me & the gunshop doing the work. He is still waiting on parts for 5 different weapons from them. I realize that they are the only game in town for FN FAL recivers of quality, but I am not impressed @ all with their lack of customer service.
Anyone else have similar experience?

Their customer service has slide quite a bit in recent years. Orders take a week or more to even get processes sometimes. I have always got my stuff but no where as fast as some of the other vendors here.

I guess from my understanding trying to return something can be nightmare as well.

But all in all they make decent guns and yes they are the only real good company in the fal business.

i had a problem ordering a gas rod for my fal from them a few years ago. took me 4 1/2 months to get it. haven't ordered from them since. sadly they are the only game in town for decent parts.

They take forever but luckily its usually done right the first time around.

I've bought parts and never had a problem, it's been a year or so ago. They always throw in something free (a set of handguards, a DSA cup, or the like) And they were nice enough on the phone when asking dumb questions. Hope it's just a coincidence or something.
