i understand if no one answers this. for 3 nights in a row a raccoon has got into our trash. we have tried putting weight on the lid but it doesn't work so my question is : do pop bottle suppressors really work. i live in town and need to dispatch this damn raccoon cuz im tired of pickin up trash every night

its really a cry for help and ideas not really wantin to do anything illegal prbably could have worded it better but i thought it would get some attention this way

They never ran across our old church youth group then Every Wednesday meeting used to be held at a different farm and once it got dark the spotlights came out and the youth group directors would drive everyone around and let all the kids beat armadillos, opossums, and raccoons to death in the fields. Golf clubs, bats, and axe handles were popular choices. Population control, helping the local farmers out.

To answer your question, NO "pop bottle silencers" do not work. Ironically, ANY attempt at quieting the report of a firearm is considered to be illegal, according to federal law. You need to contact whatever passes for "Animal Control" in your town and see what they recommend. Live catch traps are legal virtually everywhere. Just don't dump the critter in the country--they already have plenty. Gotta lock this thread for the illegal nature of the original query. |
