| I just bought a fobus holster. What kind of belt do I need for it? |
+1 This guy has some tough belts (dual layer bullhide) that actually hold up & look great. www.thebeltman.net/ |

Invest in a real, made-for-carrying-a-gun belt, like the ones mentioned above from Beltman. It makes marginal holsters bearable and good ones great. Makes the platform rock solid and enhances your comfort, too. I used to think Department Store belts were just fine, until I wore my pistol on an actual gunbelt. No comparison. Costs more, but worth every penny. You can spend anywhere from about 50.00 on a Blackhawk CQB gunbelt, which is actually very good, up to several hundred dollars for a leather job. Regular Department store belts simply sag and stretch and are not reinforced enough to support the weight of most guns unless you tighten them so tight it cuts off the blood flow to your legs. SG |
that's no shit. i had to cut an extra hole in my belt to cinch it up tight enough to keep my gun from sagging. |
