What switch would I use to make the polarity on a small DC servomotor switch back and fourth? I need to make it go clock wise on one polarity and then reverse direction when the switch in thrown the other way. |
| You can set up a relay and have the solenoid move the contact from one pole to the other. The relay is a electrical actuated switch. The solenoid is an electromagnet that moves a contact from one contact to the other. When the relay has no power, the relay makes one circuit closed and the other open. When you apply power to the relay's solenoid, the circuit that WAS closed becomes open and the other becomes closed. |
