Yep, that is the Bill of Rights. What is the point? U.S. Constitution Article III Section 1. The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour, and shall, at stated times, receive for their services, a compensation, which shall not be diminished during their continuance in office. The point of Article III Section 1 is that all final constitutional law interpretations will come out of one Supreme Court. Nothing is unconstitutional unless the USSC or lesser federal courts say it is with the USSC court having final jurisdiction. It is interesting how people cite only the parts of the Constitution that they want and disregard the rest. Much like the people that say it is unconstitutional to have an income tax without reading Amendment XVI that says congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes. |
So, has the USSC recinded or repealed any of the 10 Amendments that I posted? If so, post a link to the case. If not, then they all stand as written, right? Except, they don't, do they?

And applies only to the National Guard, which wasn't invented until the early 1900's. And besides, it only applies to muskets which shoot a bullet every minute or two, not to modern super weapons of mass destruction which spray thousands of bullets per second, that no sane person has a need for...... |
Noah Webster on the Chief Magistrate "Corruption of morals is rapid enough in any country without a bounty from government. And...the Chief Magistrate of the United States should be the last man to accelerate its progress." Supreme court I would say hasnt helped in this regard. Noah Webster on Religion in our Country. "The religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of Christ and His apostles, which enjoins humility, piety, and benevolence; which acknowledges in every person a brother, or a sister, and a citizen with equal rights. This is genuine Christianity, and to this we owe our free Constitutions of Government. Noah Webster again "The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all of our civil constitutions and laws....All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible. Tell that to Judge Moore in Alabama. Noah Webster- "If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes; "Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. "If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws Ben Rush-Benjamin Rush "By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime." "I have alternately been called an Aristocrat and a Democrat. I am neither. I am a Christocrat." Gee does this sound familar. |
| Thomas Jefferson on an Imperial Judicial Branch-"Contrary to all correct example, [the Federal judiciary] are in the habit of going out of the question before them, to throw an anchor ahead and grapple further hold for future advances of power. They are then in fact the corps of sappers and miners, steadily working to undermine the independent rights of the States and to consolidate all power in the hands of that government in which they have so important a freehold estate." --Thomas Jefferson: Autobiography, 1821. ME 1:121 |
huh.. never seen that before. you just make those up? writing a novel or something? That whole thing seems wacky enough to come from a L ron Hubbard book...

The first one's outdated as well. Our founding fathers could not have anticipated computers or the internet. Both should be banned from civilian use. |
