Gory, freakish, frightning & repulsive. (with a bit of redemption at the end) Even worse? Even more sickening & distastefull? Even more Utterly worthy of total contempt??? Would be the following snippet review per the freaks at AOL (yea I know but it's an employment burden)

saw it in the theatre with the girlfriend (both horror flick watchers) first hour is nothing more than fairly good T&A. followed by some decent gore scenes... If you want to see a suspenseful, gory, horror flick, check out the Wes Craven remake "The Hills Have Eyes" "The Hills have Eyes" is by far one of the best suspense/horror flicks in the last year. And even moreso exceptional due to the fact that it is a remake (which tend to deviate from the original screenplay...keeping with the original in title only). Just my .02 |
Nope. Boring. Basically along the lines of Friday the thirteen. College kids go off camping or in this case backpacking in Europe. Party with some boobage. Gets hacked an slashed. One survives leaving a sequel open. I found myself just ffwd to the boobage |
i personally did not like it. and here is why if i wanted to watch a porno i would have rented one. the last 45 minutes of the movie is what they advertised so i expected the whole movie to contain gore. i kept waitng for one of the guys to flip out and rip one of the bitches tits off or somthing but no. i had to sit through a porno that lasted about an hor in order to see what i rented the movie to see. very dissapointing. |

As far as shallow horror films go it was pretty good. It had everything you would expect to see in a cheesy horror film. The European chicks were hot! If you like more suspense and a deeper plot then see Saw or Saw 2. The Hills Have Eyes had some nice gore, but the premise was too implausible. |
Saw 2 was awesome!! Love the tie in to Saw one. Did not see that one coming. The needles pit got me cringing. I've only done that once when watching a horror flick. If you guy ever get a chance to see a lousy B movie called "I spit on your grave" There is a scene that will have the men cringe and twist in their seats. |
