Keeping the area clean is cool, but why lock dupes in the general forum when there is no search function to see if there is a duplicate thread out there? Where is the unlocked Wal-Mart thread? |
No search function ... sure there is - right between the calendar and the archive buttons. In fairness I did let the first three dupes slide though when you weren't looking before locking the fouth thread on the exact same topic in the last 24 hours. There's simply not enough bandwidth in the US available is AR15.com posts five topics on every thread in the general discussion. Sorry. |

It most certainly is. I had a team membership for a year. I told raf I would not renew my membership because he decided to be an asshole and tempbanned me for 3 days for advocating "violence against law enforcement" for saying an ATF agent deserved a punch to the face. I've held good on that promise too. I will not renew my membership. |
It works both ways, let non paying members search GD (at least back say, 3 days) or put up with them posting dupes and having the mods have to spend time locking them. |
We have to much fun pissing the non-payers off by duping their thread. |
