checked out ecost but they wants 18 for shipping and handling !?

Have you tried Crucial?

I generally buy my RAM and most of my memory cards from them. You can occasionally beat their prices with a coupon or a closeout elsewhere though, so YMMV, but their memory has been 100% so far for me.

I've bought RAM for 4 computers and probably 8 or 10 memory cards from them, all work great.
