Nothing like putting the ol' brain in cruise control when it's time to vote.  I find that idea to be catastophically bad.. Why would I vote agasint somone that supports my issues for one that may not? There is a thing called the "primary" process, or you can get active in your local political parties to help choose who you feel will represent you. I don't mean to offend you personally, but I think that is an unsound one. |
You didn't offend me when you revealed your inattention to detail. Try and pay attention here: The Senate is full of retards who are itching to give your country away; they are all traitors, bought and paid for by multibillion-dollar lobbies. Any that are actually appearing to agree with you are in on the deal, and are staking out that position because that's what they've been told to do to "look more like their constituency." I don't believe for one moment that virtually any one of those scum-sucking traitors would ever really lift a finger to help this country. I do believe, however, that the fresh faces in every position wouldn't have the time to collapse under the assault of the multi-billion-dollar lobbyists before we could hammer through real legislation designed to change things that actually will benefit this country. You are probably one of those jokers who says, "Everybody's bad but MY Senator!" when he's just as kinked as Ted Kennedy or John McCain - then you turn right around and vote for that retard just because it says "R" behind his name. So no, your post doesn't offend me, nor does it surprise me. You are likely going to continue to be PART OF THE PROBLEM until you smarten up enough to become PART OF THE SOLUTION. |

YOU may vote for a Republican, and some other chimp out there is voting for a Democrat. If both of you VOTE OPPOSITE, then the "balance of power" will stay the same BUT THE PEOPLE WILL CHANGE. Remember, many Democrats are just as pissed off as you are right now. Maybe, just maybe, we could get some ACTUAL CONSERVATIVES in the Senate instead of a bunch of pandering fucktards. The Democrats will ALWAYS be Socialists/Communists, so they won't gain anything by changing out one apparatchik for another. Jesus! This is like teaching 3rd grade in the low-income part of town.

Wave your magic wand and all of a sudden politicians will care.... I'd post a laughy deal but, I dont' consider it this. When you grow up and learn to play in a big boy world you will realize things are shown in inches, not miles. What do you hope to accomplish by bringing all new people in? | How about changing the party through primaries and activism, etc instead of just letting the worse of two evils move to the front of the line for the shitter? maybe we should all quit our jobs and protest 24/7 too, The problem is we will be ruined this congressional election because we as a whole will just vote for the same jerk, not vote, or do something ridiculous like vote libertarian. I have drank to much beer to finish my train of thought, sorry. bed calls. |
+1. If the opposite party was in control of both houses, we wouldn't even be having this debate - Ammnesty for illegals would already be the law of the land. Having poor brakes on a vehicle is still a lot better than having no brakes at all... |
