read an article this morning about a socialist buddy of Chavez running for head of Mexico and getting in if public sentiment about US anti-immigration has an influence on the mexican voter as is likely... Mexico and Venezuela are huge suppliers of oil to the US - I could see them pulling some shit...

I wonder what effect there would be on US gas prices if the 12 million illegal immigrant gas consumers were no longer crowding our freeways?

yeah but they usually car pool - like 10 -12 stuffed into each vehicle!!!

The largest source of hard currency in MX is money sent in from the U.S.  The second is tourism and third is oil exports.

If you could cut off no. 1, how could they afford not to sell us oil?

around here they travel in mini-vans


if you see a beat-all-to-shit Aerostar, Caravan, etc from the early nineties/late eighties there's a 99% chance it's full of mexicans.

BTW, they take the seats out so that more can fit...think "clown car"

That's true but China's entire economy depends on us buying their goods. They would tread
lightly if something was to  impact our economy.

At least thats my thought on it
