Okay, I'm an idiot. I clearly admit it up front, flame away all you want.....

Now, I need help sharpening my CRKT M16 with a Tanto style blade. I have never been able to sharpen knives at all, so after trying a few different things, I purchased the Lansky kit with 5 stones. I used it a few months ago, and thought I was on to something. The blade was sharper, not scary sharp, but sharper than dull, but it lost it's edge very quickly. I have tried a few other attempts, but no luck so far, absolutely nothing like the factory edge. So here are some pictures. Please tell me exactly which sides need to be sharpened, and at what angle if you have used a similar sharpening system on a similar knife. The lansky guide has 30*, 25*, 20*, & 17*.
