Top page.

Archive page.

Tokyo University was given a huge collection of WW1 posters that the government collected after WW1 finished.
The university has finished digitalising them and has made an archive of them.
Most of the posters are quite good and available in high quality.

P.S. please keep the racism out of this thread

I liked them. Confirms that this country no longer has the will to fight a war and win . If only we could get that same old WW1 and WW2 spirit again .

We need some posters like that now! Maybe people will pull their heads out and realize we are at war.

Recognized a few.  Hip Hip Another Ship.  The American Legion post where my Dad was Commander built a War Memorial building and then deeded it to the city.  At one point before remodeling they had about a hundred of the posters and all but 6 disappeared.

Some of those would be real timely today.

Can you imagine a US University doing that these days?

Yep, or maybe it is too late
Most of these could be used as they are, or with a little modification.
