he's going to get typecast if he keeps this up.

Agreed.  So will he play Sam Fisher in Tom Clancey's Splinter Cell?

I'll probably see this in the theatres, I live 1 mile from one of those 20 screen mega places

looks like another form fitting political thriller.  plot twists will most likely be telegraphed at least 20 min in advance, and the story will be formulaic

Same character, different employer.

THE SENTINEL
First I haven’t seen it, but looking at the previews I would say this is not going to be like 24. I think he’s going to turn out to be the bad guy. In other words he framed the guy and is the real assassin. Again haven’t seen it just a guess on my part.

I hope this isn't like the time we sat to watch The 6th Sense and 15 minutes into the movie my friend's dad says, "Hey, I think Bruce Willis is dead..."

Looks ok, but I haven't actually went to any movies in over a year.  Something about being able to buy 100 rounds of ammo for the price of a ticket, popcorn, and a soda.

I was curious as to whether he'd wind up being the big bad guy mole in the end, so I looked at the book the movie was based on.  Dayum...talk about changing a book.  In the book, his character is a woman!

Michael dougless is a big time anti gun queer. He donates big time $$$ to the anti gun movement. Boycott him and his lame ass movies.

Not for nothing, right before the 24 series started to air his career wasn't exactly booming.

It's weird seeing him as anything but Jack Bauer, even though I've seen him in other movies before ever watching 24.

I'd like to go see it, but I think I will see Silent Hill first.

He'd make a good Sam Fisher, but it would be typecasting of course.

Oh and it's ironic that Michael Douglas is hooked up with Eva Longoria when she is so pro-gun and he's anti. Maybe she'll change his mind.

I saw it tonight. IMO, this may be one of the most poorly done movies I've ever seen. The plot meanders to the point of being incoherent, the writing is just plain sorry, and the acting (from a pretty good cast) is nearly wooden. It's one of those movies where everyone in the cast decided to "mail it in." Man, was it bad.

Eva Longoria looks great, but considering her age now, so does Kim Basinger. That said, neither added a damn thing to this trainwreck. Save your money.

I saw it yesterday, was raining all afternoon, thought I'd go see the mantinee.  The latino SS agent is hot, but there was no nudity, what a tease.  Kim Basiger's pretty hot for a First Lady.   Local paper rated it 2 out of 4 stars, I'll give 2.5 out of 4.

He'd be a more believeable Jack Ryan than Affleck

The sentinal looks interesting but I rarely go to theaters, it'll be on video soon anyhow.....

Saw it yesterday and was not impressed.  Very formulaic, as was mentioned above.  Unimaginative plot, and gunplay.  No huge surprises, cool twists, or even sneaky stuff done by the Secret Service agent on the lam.

Not worth seeing, IMO.

I saw it yesterday (My company gave out free AMC passes).  I thought it was decent, and compared to the rotten movies out lately, not a bad way to spend a rainy day.  It does seem that a few crucial plot background pieces were left on the cutting romm florr.
