My results.

45 - Your score rates you as "non-homophobic."
In his 1996 study of 64 white, male college students, Dr. Henry Adams classed 29 participants as "non-homophobic." Their mean score was 30.48. This is not conclusive, however. Dr. Adams, the researcher who helped develop this scale, writes that "a major difficulty of this area of research is in defining and measuring homophobia." Elsewhere, he cautions: Since there is no universally accepted definition of homophobia, the scales currently in use may not measure all aspects of homophobia.

this test didnt really get into what i really have a problem with: gender bending.  i dont mind gay guys who still act like guys.  That doesnt bother me one bit, and i even have a few friends like that.  it's when guys start acting like girls that it bothers me, whether they are gay or not.

I would rather fight beside a volunteer or motivated gay than a draftee anyday.

69   -   Your score rates you as "homophobic."

In his 1996 study of 64 Caucasian, male college students, Dr. Henry Adams classed 35 participants as "non-homophobic." In 1980, a different research team found 56% of their white, male sample scored in the homophobic range.

Believing that homosexuality is wrong and immoral is a far cry from being scared or upset by it - which afterall is what a phobia is, an intense fear.  The term homophobia was apparently coined by the gay lobby and pushed by the liberal media.  The word homophobia is just more BS conditioning.

I work with several gay individuals and have no problems with them whatsoever and usually enjoy their company.  Not because they are or are not gay,  just because they are decent people.  I  cannot however agree with their lifestyle.

I'm not homophobic. I support civil unions, gay adoption, and laws that protect gays from unfair treatment and hate crimes.

I do not support gay marriage. The rights that come with marriage can be covered under civil unions, but a marriage it will never be

Anyone who scores over 60 is, in fact, a closet homosexual.  American Beauty anyone?

Stop gay bashing you pole-buffers, accept the disgusting genetic abomination that you are.  Stop living your farce and come out.  You'll be alot happier, but the true non-homophobes will hate you more for having lied.  You guys getting 70s and 80s are raging homosexuals.

P.S., I got 50 and was rated "non-homophobic."

Nope... actually in a conservative area.

I have a bunch of customers that are gay or lesbian. Big whoop, they are cool, pay their bills, I am very secure in my sexuality nor do I give a hoot what other people do in their bedrooms as long as it doesnt involve children, none of my business...

That term has always pissed me off. The notion that something is wrong with people who don't accept gays is aggravating!

The only people who have something definately wrong with them is in fact GAYS.

I will never agree with it or accept it. It is not natural.

Now as far as being around gays, I could care less what someone is. Just be a decent person and what you do in your bedroom is your business. We have a lesbian at our main office and she is a nice girl. It gets annoying watching her try so hard to let you know she is gay.

38 I don't have a problem with fags.

Seriously I hate the fag lobby pushing all their bullshit though, making us a pussified society...

100% non homophobic though...I have yet to meet a fag that I was afraid of...actually the term homophobic is the main reason I oppose all the fag groups and refer to them as fags and will continue to use fag and homo as insults (for everyone of course)...

I'm tired of the term "homophobe" though, which taken literally insinuates that I 'fear' homo's.

I fear a 6'4" 250 lb. meth addict with a swastika tatoo on his forehead, in a dark alley at 2:00am (sorry, no CCW here).

I sure as shit don't fear a guy wearing a pink sweater and loafers that is sexually attracted to other men. To prefer he keeps his sex life to himself (like everyone else should do) is not fear.

I hate that term.  I'm not afraid of homosexuals, however I fervently disagree with their lifestyle choices and will never accept them as legitimate.  That isn't fear, it is an issue of what I believe is morally acceptable or not.
