Far from it
Simple spelling and/or grammatical errors are some of the most annoying things, in my opinion.
I mean an average, high school educated adult should REALLY be able to spell common, everyday words.
More obscure ones I can understand being misspelt, but good lord.... The "their, there, they're' thing drives me up the wall, as does the "should of, could of, would OF" stuff
That and beginning a sentence with "anymore" also bugs the shit out of me... Like "Anymore, I don't spell so good" ARGH !
I guess it's probably pretty stupid to be bothered by such a trivial thing but I was brought up expected to be able to spell correctly. I just think it benefits a person in everyday tasks and gives others such as potential employers a better impression of one's intelligence and attention to detail.
Basically, if you don't care enough to take the time to spell correctly, or construct a sentence that MAKES sense, why would you expect to be treated like anything other than an uneducated slob ? Anymore
I guess we all have our pet peeves....... What can ya do.
