Maybe I am a closet spelling nazi, but this kills me. I have even seen it spelled that way in newspapers and books, by professional writers. Come on people. It's one little vowel. Get it together! LOL.

Back when you had to register black powder pistols in MI, the woman at the police department spelled Beretta correctly on the registration card, though my 1858 Remington replica clearly says Pietta on the side of the barrel.

I'm getting tired.  It took me about 10 seconds of thinking, "Oh, I remember that show...what was it called?"

Every time someone says Beretta the theme song to Baretta goes through my head.  It's driving me crazy.

Far from it    Simple spelling and/or grammatical errors are some of the most annoying things, in my opinion.

I mean an average, high school educated adult should REALLY be able to spell common, everyday words.

More obscure ones I can understand being misspelt, but good lord....  The "their, there, they're' thing drives me up the wall, as does the "should of, could of, would OF" stuff    That and beginning a sentence with "anymore" also bugs the shit out of me...  Like "Anymore, I don't spell so good"  ARGH !

I guess it's probably pretty stupid to be bothered by such a trivial thing but I was brought up expected to be able to spell correctly.  I just think it benefits a person in everyday tasks and gives others such as potential employers a better impression of one's intelligence and attention to detail.

Basically, if you don't care enough to take the time to spell correctly, or construct a sentence that MAKES sense, why would you expect to be treated like anything other than an uneducated slob ?   Anymore

I guess we all have our pet peeves.......  What can ya do.
