I wany yo find one of the stashes that includes machine guns and ammunition to take back the country after a nuclear war. MAybe a nice diesel generator too.

You know the goverment has the CD stashes, and you konw, Gov't being Gov't, they have lost at least one of them. Maybe some even have WWII surplus aircraft.

I was wondering if they are going to aution it off, Would like to have some of that stuff (They can keep the water) Blankets etc would be nice

40 years this is undiscovered even though they do an "annual" inspection

Back in the late 50's our parish priest got the federal government to halp finance the building of an additon to our parish school by allowing the basement to be built as a Civil Defense shelter.  For years there were piles of water and food stashed there like what is in those pictures.

The local masonic temple cleaned that stuff out of the basement and put it on the curb for anyone to take. Took alot of stuff but I only have a couple of the water barrels left.

You can tell this stuff was moved from whever the "Bunker" was where the pics were taken is only a storage room as it has windows which would no be good in the case of a bomb
