hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/V/VENEZUELA_US?SITE=7219&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2006-03-21-07-34-49 I can't think of a good reason to invade Venezuela. Chavez is simply looking for ways to justify his militarizing the southern hemisphere. In the US, the subject never seems to come up, but he keeps going on about it. I'm guessing he wants a fight, myself. About the only thing we COULD accomplish would be to engage his "revolutionaries" in battle and grind them to hamburger. |
mostly because we would all be left defenseless. that would be a perfect scenario in which civillians [along the souther borders] bearing their arms would be necessary; against invading "revoultionaries" from a group of southern countries. unfortunately, the government would pass some bs legislation "to help keep weapons of terror out of the hands of these revolutionaries", and we would all end up being forced to turn our shit in. |

We'd be left with nothing but bananas and disposable cameras, I guess. |

I believe that everything you need to understand about international politics you learned on the playground during recess. Chavez is a little punk 3rd grader who likes to taught the 6th graders to get attention. He knows they will not beat up a little kid. But he tells his friends they are scared cause he's so tough. |
Cindy Shennan. Another attention whore. They were made for each other. I hope she moves down there. She can live high on the hog, wear designer clothes and shed crocodile tears for all the poor people. Her books might even sell down there. |
....and don't forget, fraud at the polls, just like the professional dictators do it. |
Yup, and Chavez was on the side that failed to pull off the coup. Go figure.Yes, Venezuela is imploding. It started back in the 1970's, and the rate of implosion has been steadily increasing ever since. |
LOL. It's probably issued. Even if it isn't, I don't think it costs more than $0.50/bottle. I don't know about how good the beer is, but the Malta Polar and Malta Regional were pretty good when I was there. |
Ironically, Ikor is absolutely correct. At least Chavez is more up front about his communistic ideals. |
Go figure.
