You know, you've ruined me now..... |

Lego's were my favorite toy growing up. Loved playing with them. Just think of little Lego Hornets flying sorties over Iraq....warms the heart |

Boats made of Legos are very un-seaworthy. I learned this many years ago.
My favorite thing to do with Lego vehicles I'd build is to crash them and see if I I could make them hit so hard that every last piece separated from every other one. And then I'd sweep up the pieces and try to rebuild the same thing exactly from memory alone. If not, no big deal. I'd make something else. I just installed the Lego designer software. I think I'll have some fun with it. My only complaint is a limited color selection for some pieces, and also, I don't think that EVERY lego type is represented. Where are all the people, for one? If I were to make a product suggestion to Lego, it'd be for them to make blocks that are meant to allow the building of angled and curved surfaces in a variety of angles and radiuses rather than just a few. LOL....think back to Roy from "Close Encounters" w/his huge Devil's Tower model in the living room... |

Thats not true. You just didnt use their dedicated ship hulls. You could get bows, mid sections and fantails. You could make all sorts of models that would float. The regular ones would also float until they got water logged then sink. |

He is going to sell that thing to someone for a huge chunk of change.
They had something similar in the lobby of this corportation. They paid like $50000 for it. |

I believe that's the fantail of one of the newer flight IIA Arleigh Burke class destroyers. www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ship/images/ddg-79-sideship2.jpg |

Thinkin' small, huh? Now all you need is a scale Enterprise... |
NERD! But the aircraft carrier is still pretty cool! |
Maybe we could e-mail the guy and get him to make a little greenpeace boat getting blown up by the carrier.... |
Lemme guess: Coming soon, the millenium falcon lego set, right?? |

If I had a Star Destroyer, I'd have no problems. Honestly, I'd love to get one of those, but that's a pretty good downpayment on a new Aimpoint, or Trij. |

Ok, I have to admit that I have passed over this thread time & time again without ever clicking it to see what was inside.....
That is crazy lol.... that is a guy with way too much time on his hands lol..... But it is still pretty cool though. |

But it was sweet in the XWing series, until they fixed the flight models. |
Thats it, im going to design the BSG and buy it. |
The rules state that custom requested models must not violate any copyrighted material. So, it looks like you can design it, but you can't have Lego assemble the kit for you. |
Geez. I love Legos. I'm glad I'm broke and can't buy any of those sets.

[elderly hasidim] Now Schlomo...... THATS comedy!!! [/elderly hasidim] |
we just need sci-fi to do what lucas did, and license BSG to Lego |
That aircraft carrier puts my millenium falcon lego set to shame. He or she must have spent a fortune on it. |
In all seriousness, has the shipbuilder, I don't know who it is, not licensed the Ship? I ask this because I've been reading that scale model manufacturers are starting to have problems with licensing. |
