I had a pretty fun day today.
I was on the track at IMS to scout photography spots for an upcoming event:      Also, I saw Gene Simmons and Carmelo Anthony....apparently Anthony is an owner of an IRL team now, and Simmons is a partner in a marketing co that is involved with IRL. Interesting pair. |

Yeah... the Kiss Gene Simmons. He was waiting in the main lobby with Carmelo Anthony as we were waiting for the track manager. It was kinda twilight-zone like. We did a whole lap. Probably went about 100 |

I love that place, what event will you be photographing?
I got my 500 tickets in the mail about 2 weeks ago. I can see my seats in one of your photos. I sit in the grandstand in turn 2 next to the luxury suits. SE VISTA |

Indy IS awesome. I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience there 2 years ago. It was a very thrilling experience to actually pilot a race car around Indy at high speed. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The track is like no other.

I use to live walking distance from the 500 back in the 70's. It was a riot during May.

I got up to about 75 on the track in my 82 Toyota *yes Toyota* Celica. It was a SCCA event.

Been there. Done that. Had a great time. Oh, did I mention, paid for buy the F.B.I./U.S. Marshals Office/my P.D..  Federal trial ref. a stolen firearm. Convicted, 2 1/2 years. ______________________________  |
