Seriously, this is messed up.

I gave my dog some beer the other night...not even a spoon full just to see what she would do. She loved it and now....she wines whenever I have a beer in my hand. I've never seen a Chihuahua that liked beer.

Is this bad for her? I think it would be pretty funny to see her stumbling around drunk,.

Sorry, I'm bored and need something to talk about.

It wouldn't be the first time a dog got drunk.

Give her a beer

Giving your dog some beer is fine. It sure as hell beats drinking alone.

This reminds me of the time a friend and I got his parrot drunk. That had to be the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. It kept falling off of its perch and was trying to talk but would only get half a word out before it fell over.

A friend of mine had a dog that would go around after parties and knock over all of the left-overs and finish them off. I told him I was going to get him a tag for his collar that read, "Hi, my name is bogie and I'm an alcoholic".

Wow. Those are some pretty damn funny stories

Just give her a Chalupa and she'll go away.

My dogs like a sip now and then. When growing up, we had a horse that would get totally shit-faced.

Ever try to ride a drunk horse?

Not saying the rider didn't have a couple either.

My brother had a rat that drank beer from a beer cap. He'd have his fill and when another rat approached, he'd run them off and start drinking afresh. He certainly wasn't about to share the good stuff.

Allow me to be the party pooper and say, it sure as hell isn't good for the dog to be doing that. It doesn't know any better.

Think of the dog as a young kid. Would you get a 4-year-old drunk?

My dog gets a sip of each beer he brings me. Last party at my house, he emptied a massive cooler in about 1/2 an hour; taking beers to anyone with a free hand.

Dogs seem to be natural boozers. I remember being at a friends place having a few and we found his lab sucking on the empty long necks. Just because they like it doesn't mean it's good for them. Wouldn't want to see them fall down steps or something and get hurt.

I think alcohol can be toxic to dogs. Don't kill it

at the very least remember what her body mass is and give her like 1/4th of a beer first AT THE MAX. she'll drink more than she can handle, and die or at least get sick.

from this website:
www.wisegeek.com/which-foods-are-toxic-to-cats-and-dogs.htm

"Alcohol and hops should also be avoided as alcohol poisoning can lead to coma and death."

My dog pulls the empty beer bottles out of the recycle bin and rolls them around to spill out the left over beer.
I couldn't figure out how the bottles kept ending up on the lawn, until one time I heard a bottle fall and went and found her rolling the bottles around and licking up the beer.
