The total box office take of the five Best Picture nominees is less than the box office take of the 10th most popular movie this year.
The very good Chronicles of Narnia took in nearly twice as much as the 5 Best Pic nominees. The Oscars are a popularity contest for the "in crowd" of Hollywood. And, virtually all of the voters are liberals if not closet commies. The only upside is the display of femal flesh on the runway. |

GP- It's not the show, it's the relentless hype that seemingly is on every media outlet...to me, it seems that the media industry is so patronizing to the American public. I like good movies and TV shows, but damn, it's just a movie or show..........but, no matter, I just found "The Best Of UFC 2005" on Spike TV, so I'm good
