You name it. Some of it is Amway (scamway), some is various schemes like selling vacuum cleaners, shoes, brushes. Some is a telemarketing thing with cold calling, email spamming, or even sending junk mail/stuffing envelopes. It spirals downhill from there.

It's just an updated version of the old ads you used to see in the back of Popular Mechanics. They want you to pay them to tell you about some great opportunities in the envelope stuffing or coupon clipping arenas.

I heard one the other day talking about how it was sooo easy to make tons of money that it was banned in some states, and you should get in on the action before it's banned in your state too!
 It mentioned something about selling products that you don't have to stock, ship, or ever even touch or see. |
