I got a new phone that has a miniSD card for MP3s, videos, yadda, yadda, making coffee, etc...

The manual says the music must be in WMA format, though, and all my music files are MP3 format. They won't play without being converted.

Anyone know how I would do this? Thanks in advance.

I thought windows mediea player would convert mp3 to wma.

I've used windows moviemaker, just import audio (no video) and save to computer, and you can save sound files to wma format.

I also use a program call dbPoweramp music converter, It used to be free, but I think they might charge for it now. It works very well and is easy to use ( I think version 11 is freeware).
