Yesterday afternoon I started feeling a little sick to my stomach, today I have a full blown case of diarrhea. This is possibly the worst I've ever seen. I'm literally having to go every few minutes, and wipping has become painful. According to my mother, drinking cola is supposed to settle your stomach, so I have been drinking alot of Pepsi. It is making a little difference, but not much. I have also been pouring Peptobismol into me like water. No effect. Anyone have any suggestions? Is this one of those things that you just have to ride it out? |

You probably have the same bug I had a few years ago. Went to the ER for the vomiting and squirts. Took me about 3 days to kick it.. some viral stomach bug. Everything I ate and drank came back out quickly and in purely liquid form. Give it time, stop drinking Pepsi!! You have to drink something else to keep yourself from getting dehydrated. Sports drinks work ok for this, but not soda. Besides, caffeine actually assists in producing a bowel movement according to my doc. Stay close to the crapper, use some baby wipes or something for your rear and stop drinkin pepsi demmit. |

Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. These are high fiber binding foods, and will improve diarrhea fairly quickly. acidophillus, available at any GNC, vitamin shoppe, or decent drug store. The lactobaccillus will repopulate the gut with the beneficial bacteria you need to bulk up and solidify. The cork also helps. |
That is the problem. |
I take acidophilus for five days before and during any OCONUS trips. Since I started I've been 100% on holding my mud overseas. This trick was recommended to me by a USSS guy on the VPOTUS detail. |

You might have campylobacteriosis. My entire family got it this past summer, while on vacation. I was basically on the crapper for over 12 hours straight. Immodium doesn't work either if that's what you have. Drink lots of water!!!! |
| From what I recall (during my food poisoning episode a few years ago), sugared drinks will actually dehydrate you MORE than regular old water. Yes, coke is supposed to settle your stomach, but your stomach isn't the problem. It's your lower bowels. No amount of cokes is gonna help down there. Water water water, and imodium. If it continues for more than a few days, get to the doctor. |

You need to eat as many raw habanero and thai chiles as you can stand as fast as you can. You could puree them (minus stems) with a little water and drink them. The fiber in the chiles will help the diarrhea naturally clear itself up. if you can't get fresh chiles, try finding a can of chipotles in adobo sauce and do the same thing. P.S. Don't really do this unless you actually want to destroy what's left of your sphincter. |
thats funny shit |
