Thats the thing with this stock... just that it extends far so if you dont like the short stock of the SKS this will be perfect for you... If you have a couple of SKS's and you wanna have a fun gun that you can screw around with... this is a durable stock for it.

I have an SKS that the stock is pristine so I wont mess with that one... but i do have one that has a crappy stock and will transform it.

I think it would make a great replacment stock for that cheesy ass Norinco wood.

Ilike the shorter stocks of the SKS and such.  Guess I'm just tired of seeing everything having an  AR stock put on it nowadays

Choate SKS Stock

Looks good, works good, proper size, good quality.  Why use anything else?

isn't there some kind of restriction for having a pistol grip on a SKS imported after a certain year?

I guess that it is OK for some Norinco POS, but you'd be drawn and quartered in the C&R world if you put that on a Russian or, even, a Yugo.

My rule is; No pistol grip? No thanks!
This stock has become my only reason for wanting a SKS.

as for .922(r), the SKS only requires 5 US parts. This stock is 3 parts; BS, PG, HG. Add a US made magazine for 3 more; case, floorplate, follower and your covered.
