Police Officer, Twin Brother Arrested in Weekend Drug Raid
Monday February 13, 2006 10:46am

Montgomery (AP) - A Montgomery police officer was arrested in a weekend drug raid at his apartment in southeast Montgomery.

Montgomery Police Chief Arthur Baylor said he ordered the raid after learning that Officer Donny Young allegedly might be involved in criminal activity.

Baylor said the raided netted a sizable amount of marijuana and Young, who is 25, was charged with felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Police also arrested Young's twin brother, Danny, on similar charges.

Captain Huey Thornton, a department spokesman, declined to say more about Saturday night's arrests because it involves an ongoing narcotics investigation.

He said Donny Young and Danny Young are being held in the Montgomery County Jail on bonds exceeding $100,000 each.

They did hit him for what might not have warranted a raid on Joe Dirtbag by that agency (we don't know one way or another). Also, it appears that they made nailing a dirty cop a priority:

acting with urgency to pop Officer Felon while leaving other members of his ring at large. The Dpt may have done the right thing here.

Jackass. Time to move on to that thrilling career know as cab driving.  Maybe even drywall installation.

All under the watchful eye of his parole officer of course.
