Just looking out the front yard,I would guess 10" at least, and it is still coming down. There calling for it to continue untill tommorrow morning, allthough not listing further accumulations.
Yeah- All the idiot weather men having a fit talking to all the idiots trying to claim they have so many inches in their back yard. The wind is blowing about 30-40mph so it's not like you can really measure. I have bare grass on about 1/4 of my yard and piles close to 2 1/2 ft in some other places. You could make a case for anything from 8" to 16".Supposed to keep snowing and blowing for 6+hours
I live in upstate NY, of course its snowing here Thanks for asking.........
+1 Not a hell of alot of snow here, and this is Minnesota. Just another cold front coming in. |
those are finght'n words 14 inches here, they haven't started plowing yet and it's supposed to snow hard for the next 5 hours. The snow would be a welcome change if it wasn't such a pisser to drive in. |
18" here this morning and still coming down, although not as heavily as earlier. Thankfully, my neighbor across the street just loves playing with his front end loader and he had me almost completely dug out before I even looked out the door this morning.

Snow, yep and plenty of it. The Snow plow and snow blower are my best friends today!

The photo is a mockery of how a marylander would do snow preparation. The milk was the wife's. |

86 degrees today, worked outside in short pants and short sleeves, why?
Same here, Pa. DUDE!, I was going to go to the beach.
I did run into 6 feet of snow in a 24 hour period while on my Mammoth Mountain ski vacation during the first week of January. Does that count? 24 hours later all that snow had been moved out. They worked wonders to get all those roads open. Tourism is there life's blood so they were motivated. |
As an art teacher of all the reject kids in my high school, snow is good.
1. We get the day off. YAY!!! 2. Tomorrow I will have the kids come up with designs for the snow sculptures we will be erecting in front of the school. 3. For the next week they will be occupied with a fun task outside, that doesn't cost the department a dime in materials. (penny pinching has become somewhat ridiculous). |
Dunno where you are Guchyck, but the snow here is dry and powdery...can't make snowballs let alone sculptures. |
