Yes, a sword, it was about as hard to swallow as Ted Kennedy not being convicted of manslaughter.

or

It's better when your Chinese hosts order deep fried food.  If you can't ID it, then the business dinner seems to go better.

Yea, damn oysters/mussels. Got sick, as in major league food poisoning, two years ago. After I recovered, I went back to eating them again - now this was about two months after I was sick, and at a different restaurant, but it didn't matter, the same damn food poisoning hit me again.

Never had a problem with 'em before that first event, and after the second event, I swore off of 'em and haven't eaten one since then.

I still think about how great they were to eat, but I'm not risking a third round of food poisoning.

I agree 82nd. There is a lot of good food listed on this thread, except the liver. I just can't go that taste. I have also eaten raw oysters but just don't see the point. No scallops, shrimp or other seafood? That is un-American.

Shrimp Scampi!

Just before my wife had our littlest daughter, we went to Sam's Town casino in Tunica, Mississippi for a little "last chance of a lifetime" fling.

We (actually I ) won $400 at the slots and decided to celebrate with an all-you-can eat dinner.  Of which a huge tray of shrimp scampi was a component.  Of which I ate an obscenely large amount.

I woke up about 3 AM as sick as a dog.  I was SOOOO nauseated but could not throw up.  I was laying in the floor of the bathroom begging God to let me puke.  Then I had to ride home in that shape.  I will never, ever eat shrimp scampi again.
