I could have easily shot my five rounds and reloaded and shot five more at this damn deer!

Also a +1 on don't use just 5 rounds at the range to sight in your DEERSLAYER rifle.

So there is this guy in the local area, who won a free rifle/scope setup at a Mule Deer Foundation banquet.  Thinking its a pretty slick setup, he decided to use it for the upcoming deer season, in a limited draw area.  Excellent selection of trophy bucks, and he happens across one...

So he uses an old corral, sets up early in the morning to lay the ambush on this big ole buck.  It wandered into his crosshairs, not 30 yards away.  Sure hit, right?
He never sighted the rifle in.
3 shots convinced the buck to run off.

Sometimes it just isn't meant to be.

I wouldn't be happy about it being on camera :)

His buddy that posted this on the net is the ultimate Blue Falcon.  Dumbass should have spent more time at the range, though.

He wasn't even close.  He was about 16-20 inches to far left of even hitting the head (he should have been aiming at the body anyway)  He should have also seen the dirt kickup from his previous shots and compensated accordingly.

BTW y'all notice the 4 other tree stands spaced about 100yards apart on down the line?
