I must be a glutton for punishment. The November 19th buy threads resulted in over 500 people signing up, about a third of them doing it, and over 140,000 rounds bought. Not to mention at least 2 account lockings, one of a gold member, for trolling them so bad. So what do yall think? IBTP |
And even though it's not noon yet, I've had a few wild turkeys in me. I'll bite the bullet and do it, just cause everyone wanted me to, and I have to have some good excuse for my post count being so high.

I say yes! BUT. Since the big button pusher was the fact we were all buying fom Wal Mart...and several people posted the ammo they got at gun shoews and whatnot anyway.... Why don't we just ahve an ammo day for the sake of ammo. Set the day, we all sign up. We all go buy ammo, Wal Mart, Gun Show, Academy, Dicks, local shop, even online. Where ever. Then we post pics and run a count to see how much ammo ARFCOM can hoard in one day. |

Maybe I could arrange another group ammo purchase thru MCC. It was mainly for SS109 62 grain on LC brass, and .308 AP but I know there is no more of that. There is pretty much any type of ammo available. I'll see if I can dig up the old thread. Here it is. . . archive.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=121&t=219525 M4-CQBR |
I like this man's thinking. |
Which are you more proud of, the ammo bought or the locked accounts? ![]() |

| I don't remember, but he wouldn't quit trolling. He got I think 3 warnings before they did it, They finally did it after he trolled the second thread so bad that I had to create another so they could delete the second one. AFter I made the third, he trolled it and they locked him. |
Monty Burns: Excelant! Guinness Guys: Brilliant! I dare anyone to use their DU account to plug it over there once we get close to the day. You could claim the ammo buy is to keep ammo off the streets of the inner city and out of the weapons of the GI's in Iraq. |
Diet of Speyer makes the first steps of the Reformation. Battles of Lexington and Concord. FDR abandons the gold standard. Bay of Pigs fails. Salyut 1 failure. Waco. Current Pope Benedict elected. I can't decide if that day is cursed or blessed. |
damn....someone please do that and post a link-i'd like to see what they say |
