Ok...call me a geek.

I wonder what happen to mine. I had 2.

Those separated the men from the boys in my high school. Happily, I was a boy and on the tennis team instead.

The sterotype was nearly 100% in my area.

I believe in the future of farming with a faith born not of word but of deeds. Achievements won by the present and past generations of agriculturists in the promise of better days through better ways, even as the things we now enjoy have come to us through the struggles of former years.

That's from memory, might be some errors

Ya know, when I first saw the pics I thought it was a Teamster jacket.

You can imagine my relief when I realized it wasn't and you're just a geek.

Wow, that's pretty good.

Of course, I haven't had to say that in 25+ years.

Damn, I'm getting old.

You FFA bashers make me sick. If you were man enough to get away from your keyboards and put on the jacket you would understand. Everyday having to deal with things like creed speaking, timber estimation, and proper swine castration techniques would open your eyes. I can't believe people on AR15.com would sink low enough to criticize such a thing.

I've still got mine at my parents house...little dustier than yours.

Laugh MF'er but remember "some one " has to raise the beef and plant the barley that went into that burger and beer you had for supper. More than likely he or she had some affiliation with the FFA at one time or another. Laugh all you want to at the ropers and the farm boys but please, try not to do it with your mouth full.

If you find your old jacket, see if you still have their $17.25 in the pocket. They want it back.

No way! I never even smoked pot. Everyone smoked pot in the mid '70's--but me.

I thought every one under the age of 40 45 50 55 ok maybe 60 in your case had smoked pot at some point in their life j/k Some people used to grow it on the back edges of the AG farm at the high school

My first job was working on a horse farm.. That was enough to convince me I was no future farmer!! Hat's off to those who take that path, but it ain't for me.
Link Posted: 1/13/2006 1:06:56 AM EDT
Ah, the memories of Ag. class.

I nearly got expelled my junior year when they told us we could bring our .22's out to the Ag. farm and kill rats and pigeons. I didn't have a .22 so I brought my 30-06. Funny thing about the '06, it tends to overpenetrate on rodents, shot a hole in our brand new water tank for the well. I was in deep shiite for that incident. After I returned from a 3 day suspension, the principal told me I could checkout a .22 if I wanted to kill some rats next time.

(castrating pigs absolutley sucks, damn those things are loud when they scream!)

I had a bunch of pins, my mom probably took them off to wash the jacket 15 years ago or something and threw them in a drawer somewhere. Gone forever I guess.
