I knew ther was something wrong with my PS90.................... the barrel is too long and uncle sam wants $200.  CMMG can you help to correct this error.

The full barrel helps with the velocity (less drop at 100yd-200yd).

I wonder what the longer barrel would look like with some kind of rail system.  I mean something low profile but there to help balance out the "look" of the thing.  And to maybe put a light on it.  Yes i know about the exsisting light/laser mounts for the P90.  Hell even get rid of the exsisting sight and put one on forward so you dont have to cant it up to change a mag.

We need a PS90 in 5.56mm.  I don't care that it would be fugly wide.

nice ahaha.

However the P90 is only acceptable in SBR form.  The 16" version looks horrible.

The PS90 standard barrel length is about the same as a P90 w/ the sound suppressor.
Some states do not allow SBR. It doesn't mean you can't enjoy the weapon.

It's called the FN FS2000. Similar receiver styling, takes AR mags, piston driven, 1/7 twist barrel. Top picatinny rail, comes with BUIS.

CMMG what is the procedure for removing the existing barrel? I noticed flats on the chamber end of the barrel and near where the barrel exits the body. Is it just a matter of unscrewing these two pieces and the barrel comes out?

Barrels are 4150 chrome lined 1/9 twist.  All barrels are MP tested.  Flash hiders are necessary for installing a new barrel.  We will be using Gemtech's BiLock hider as of now until we start making our own.  Their's is a good choice due to the high quaility and of course the ability to add their can to it too.

Barrels are held in by the sleeve that is inbetween the hider and receiver.  Both the hider and sleeve are threaded into the barrel.  The sleeve is also blind pinned to the barrel.

Barrels will be slightly higher than our M16 barrels due to new tooling costs.  Price will be $249.95.  Gemtech hiders are $85.

The glasses are some cheapo Radians Tacpro, but I like them alot.

Can you post a short pictoral guide of why you can't drop in a real FN P90 barrel?  I would like to see the difference between the semi and full auto barrels.  I would have prefered if FN made the barrels interchangeable.
