Got an iPod Nano.  Installed the software on both my desktop and laptop PC's.  then was having issues with my laptop.  Nothing bad I just wanted to restore to an earlier configuration.  So I remove the iPod software and do the system restore.  Now when I try to install the iPod stuff again I get the message that Data1.cab file is corrupted and the application, package, or network may be something or other..

What now?  Everything runs fine but I cannot install the software.  Did the software cd go TU?

Toss the CD in the trash and download the latest version from Apple.

Oh, and unlike some other software companies, Apple has very good tech support. Give them a call. They actually speak english.
