Hello guys, just a few thoughts. I also believe that sex and love are different. Whats wrong with a business transactions? No one gets hurt unless she is somehow being forced to do it. A few of pointers.

1. Always use a condom, enough said.
2. Never pay up front, you'll get ripped off

Man, you guys must be old. I live near a college town and let's just say the male/female ratio is such that it is damn near impossible not to get laid on a regular basis if you are a halfway decent looking guy who treats women with some amount of class and don't kiss and tell all your buddies about it later (it always gets back to them, don't know how or why). Okay, so the girls a little bit, let's say, inexperienced at times, but whatever. The worst thing is to shun them every time you see them after that--just be cool and friendly but don't make a lot of promises (okay, I've broken that rule a few times). There's also a little massage parlor in town where I hear things "go down" if you know what I mean. Check out your own town, chances are there is a "house of ill repute" usually disguised as a massage parlor or other gimmicky new-age kind of place. It's all sex...

Prostitution should be legal or at least tolerated like it is in Europe and Australia. Yes, there is a ton of other crime that goes along with it--extortion, robbery, and drugs, but banning consensual sex? Come on! It would be safer for all involved if it were legal.

Every once in a while you hear this, but it's usually kinda hushed. But condoms do not protect you from HIV. The virus is actually smaller then the pores in the latex. Of course, it's more protection than without, but I certainly wouldn't trust my life to a condom.

I am not insinuating that this does not exist in the United States. However, the incidences of VD are ASTRONOMICALLY higher in the 3rd world, and especially in cities like Bangkok, Thailand and Bombay, India. And for the record, I would not have sex with a prostitute anywhere. There is something disgusting to me about having sex with someone who has that much mileage between her legs.

As far as condoms go, there is a chance of breakage, and they do not always protect against things like herpes and warts.

Boystown is a word created by someone years ago to point out the red light district part of a city. That is the only area where prostution is legal and where the prostutitutes have regular health screening and such. The police are strongly visibible there and will help keep the peace. I believe you are correct that the HIV virus is smaller than the pores in ANY condom. However, the protection is in the prevention of exchange of fluids, which contain the virus. I do not believe (any MDs or experts feel free to dispute this) that the virus exits fluids, crawls through foreign substances in search of a victim.

That loophole or disclaimer doesn't wash when it comes right down to it. Chicago has been one of the leading cities cracking down on the cyber brothels (because Chicago is utopian like and doesn't have any other problems) and busts have been on the news at least twice during the past 12 months. Doesn't matter what you say or she says, when the cash comes out or is even discussed, the cuffs come on. Even if the charges get dismissed, it doesn't matter. You're already in the system. You assume too much.

I was planning on watching my wallet among other things... I was ready for this.

What made me let my guard down was that we did this at her house. Not a hotel or someplace. Plus she lives like 5 blocks from me. She met me first to see I was ok.. then went to her place. From now on I just make an appt. and go to her place.

I am now more worried about her....

I mean... she see's theses strangers... what if one of them.. ya know.. does something to her.
