| I want Family Guy DAMNIT!!!!!!!! |
Sure WE already know these things but the average person on this site is FAR more politically aware than the average person on the street. I'm still pissed about missing Family Guy though. |
Aren't you in the military? If you're not going to refer to your Commander in Chief by his title, you should at least capitalize his last name.
|
The weren't covering... probably because they were saving their film in hopes that there would be some huge attack on the voting polls so they could get some good footage of the carnage. Nothing like that happened so it's like the whole thing didn't happen. It's only news if it's bad news. |

I can't imangine not listening to the Presidents address. I have and will continue to stop whatever I'm doing and listen to what the man has to say. And as important to me, actually listen to him say it, not read it, or hear about it from the media. But hey, it's only the President of the United States of America, leader of the free world, and Commander in Chief of the greatest nation on Earth, speaking to his nation during a time of war. So I can see how watching another sitcom would be more important. |
If he spoke as charismatically as the president from the days of WW's I & II I might listen. But listening to him is like watching a talking chimpanzie. So far all I've really heard is nothing more than what we all talk about on here on a daily basis. He's just justifying his actions and reminding people that it's the right thing to do, blah blah blah. But rock on for watching. |
He was telling the likes of DU, Murtha, Dean, Pelosi, Teddy, and that guy who didn't get the job last year to STFU; that they are aiding the bad guys etc. I think it was political move to make them look bad if they keep it up, and to remind everyone that we are still at war. |
+1 I can hear my brain cells scream when I watch a Presidential Address. "It was as if many voices cried out in terror, then were suddenly silenced..." |
