The "toes" on those "feet" would be considered individual tripods with respect to the
individual "legs".

It all has to do with the point of reference of what is being supported.

Humans have two legs and two feet - bipods.

Using your (alleged) logic, you'd count the toes, ball and heel as the number of legs on each foot.

And hence still meet the definition of a bipod.

If the two legs became one, in our world, we would have said it was a monopod.
