Looks like it would be annoying. Cool looking at first but after a few minutes of use I bet it would be irritating.

I recently got this one. And I love it. It lights the letters/numbers and not like alot of others that use EL for the entire key.

The first lighted keyboard I had was the translucent
membrane kind , and the damn letters wore off it in a
few months

Now that I've finally learned where the keys are , I type with
the keyboard on the shelf under the desk . So a lighted one is a
moot point .

I have the same one. High quality feel to it, and the light is just enough to see but not too bright to distract you. You can use it in total darkness or in bright light just as easily.

I got one of the "Gamer" satiek keyboards for christmas used it not even a week and gave it to my sister. The light sucks Cuz I asked for it so that when I was playing a game I would type faster (Yeah I know look at keys.. blah blah) thing wouldnt give me enough light. now I'm using the regular dell keyboard but would like to get a wirless one soon

ETA: this one looks new thought the one I got the buttons were all solid and just the backlight no light to it.
