Went to bed last night just beat tired. Couldn't fall asleep. Tossed, turned, nose stuffed up, chest clogged, basic common cold stuff. So called into squadron and left a message that I would be staying put in bed today. Get a call back from huffy puffy AZ2 that I need to report to sick call if I am to be out and that this is an unexcused abscence, etc. It is an hour drive in the morning to work and an hour back home.. She expects me to drive to work, half asleep, doped up on cold medicine, just to have the Doc tell me I have a cold and go back to bed? So I am gonna head to sick call tomorrow and have the Doc give me a down chit and she can go fuck herself looking for a flyer for next weeks missions.. Some people just have no clue... And for all the nitpickers here, yeah she's technically right but please.... |
This chic has officer aspirations but her last OCS package was hit with a Bazooka by the Skipper. She was dressed down by one of the division chiefs a few weeks ago. He asked why she talks down to people, she responded.. No shit.. "Well, I want to be an officer".. He blew the fuck apart and then finished his ripping by asking her what officer in our command(and ours are all grade A) talks down to anyone. She's pissed at me right now anyway since Aircrew seem to get more leeway and more responsibility, which she is dying for but cannot handle since she couldn't plan a mission to save her grandmother. She wanted me to log hours in the pilots logs yesterday while she put together all the details and logistics for a couple upcomming missions. Then the dept LPO had me do it and gave her the log books and she looked like someone shot her dog.. Anyway a few days off will be nice..

Personally I get along with her and all that. Professionally she is a pain in the ass. Not hot, not at all. Don't want to insult here. |
I am, and I feel like shit today, snow coming, highways will be a freaking mess tonight and tomorrow, and I am hungry but throat is sore. Funny thing... Yesterday I felt fine. Been visiting my sister at the hospital for the past couple days. She had twins. Maybe I picked up something there.. |
LOL! I did mention tha Aircrew get more leeway,lol! But really, drive an hour to go back home to bed? This coming from the same person that tried to tell me that taking my daughter her mother(we are not together) had a DR appointment was not a legal excuse for coming to work late.. |
